CATNAP FELINE SUITES

When we were approached by feline lovers to design a cat boarding space, we couldn’t have been more excited to begin. The heart of the project was realizing the owners' vision for something far from a typical commercial space, prioritizing the creation of a safe and comfortable temporary home where the cats could slowly settle in.

Nestled within a conserved shophouse, the CATNAP hotel features a double-height space with a private loft overlooking it, though these layered areas remain hidden from passers-by. Upon entry, guests are welcomed into a cozy living room setting with a cup of tea. Like Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the true surprise lies behind an arched frosted door. Beyond it, guests are invited into a whimsical world where lavender fields, cobblestone alleyways, starry nights, and cloudy skies linger like a dream.

This magical experience extends to the cats as well, with feature cat suites designed as interconnected Tetris blocks. Adventurous climbers can enjoy added height through floor circle openings between units, while those who prefer to run and play hide-and-seek can expand the suites by removing purple-capped divider panels to double, triple, or quadruple the space. For those seeking extra luxury, two private châteaus with floating houses and clouds offer the perfect retreat.
