Here we lay, worn and almost gone:
A gate, a wall, a screen.
Not quite out of shape - just elements of another’s past. 

Then came plans for renewal and change,
A modern twist - of the same old shell!
Taken apart, only to be reassembled as fast.

Reinvented and recycled,
A second life has been granted.
Here we stand, alive for evermore.
